 I had a patient last week who came in complaining that she wasn't seeing well.  Our Visual Field Analyzer detected a specific type of peripheral (side vision) loss that was suspicious for a pituitary tumor.  An MRI confirmed this diagnosis and a golf ball sized tumor was removed this week.  The surgeon thought that the tumor was about 10 years old, which corresponded to the patients last eye exam!  An eye exam can detect everything from MS, AIDS, and Leukemia, as well as the more commonly detected Diabetes, Glaucoma, and Hypertension.  It's said that, "Th
